Data processed
This is a static showcase website: we do not collect personal data via forms, accounts or input fields. The only automatic processing happens at the hosting layer (Vercel), which records technical logs containing your IP address, browser user-agent and the requested URL for security and diagnostic purposes.
Purpose and legal basis
Technical logs are processed to enable the correct delivery of the site, prevent abuse and ensure its security. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention period
Access logs are kept for a maximum of 12 months, after which they are automatically deleted by the hosting provider.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses a minimal number of local storage technologies.
Technical (no consent required)
We use the browser's localStorage only to remember the user's chosen language (key "cdc-lang-pref"). It is not a cookie, it is never sent to the server: it just avoids showing the language switch banner on every visit.
Third-party (explicit on-click consent)
The Google Maps map on the contact page is NOT loaded by default. It only appears as a placeholder with a "Show map" button. By clicking the button you load the content from Google: your IP address is communicated to Google and cookies under the google.com domain may be set. The click constitutes explicit consent under cookie regulations.
Direct communications (WhatsApp / Email)
The "WhatsApp" and "Email" buttons on the site simply open the app or mail client on your device. We do not pass data to any service. When you write to us, your data (number, name, message) is processed: by Meta for WhatsApp according to its privacy policy, and by your provider and our mail provider for email. We only use them to reply to your request.
Data recipients
Technical logs are only accessible to Vercel Inc. (hosting). The data you share with Google Maps by clicking the map button is received by Google LLC. We do not sell or share data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Transfers outside the EU
Vercel and Google may process data outside the European Union (United States). Such transfers take place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
At any time you can exercise the rights granted by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR: access your data, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, objection. To exercise them write to info@casadeicolombi.com — we will reply within 30 days.
Complaint to the Supervisory Authority
If you believe the processing violates the GDPR you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or your local authority.
